Thursday, February 25, 2021: “Resume Writing Workshop”

Today’s activity was the “Resume Writing Workshop” which was led by Professor Matthew P. Downs as the speaker. The students gained some helpful advice and new insights on what they should include in their resumes that could help them stand out. Reminders given by the professor were very useful and served as motivation for the students to start gathering experiences early on by partaking in internships, extracurricular activities, part-time jobs etc. Students are aware that these experiences can help build up their resumes (aka their personal marketing tool) which is essential in their life in the future as professionals.
